I don’t know what it is about GREEN, but I always seem to do a green colourway. Monstera is the one newest green colourway at Sstutter. Monstera uses a brand new hand mixed green marbled acrylic as well as a vibrant fluro lime green. I have set these two feature materials against a soft matt pale blue. In all, Monstera is a vibrant new colourway which is a fresh and fierce as it sounds - it’s almost alive!
When I first decided to design a crocodile statement piece, I knew it had to be wild and its mouth was to be the feature piece. It needed teeth. It seemed a no brainer to give this the full Sstutter trademark articulation. This Crocodile truly snaps.
I wanted to add texture to the body so i have used 158 Swarovski crystals arranged with organic precision. The way the item hangs, it gives the impression that you have tamed this glamorous beast. However you can't quite tell if its dead and I wanted to make something that would scare and delight in equal measure.
The Statement Crocodile is approximately 6” (150mm) wide x 9” (230mm) long. It is very big.
The necklace is mounted on a large fully adjustable gold curb chain and is approximately 12" (300mm) at its maximum length. It is intended to sit close to the neck and has a spacer at the front of the necklace to elevate the item away from the neck.
All products are made from laser cut acrylic with plated chain and findings (nickel compliant to British and European standards).
*The hand-mixed Japanese marbled sheets vary in colour and tone. The variation comes from the material being made in a random, organic fashion. The sheets will resemble the colourway somewhat, but some variation is inevitable and a part of the charm that makes each piece unique.*
This product is carefully wrapped in tissue and presented inside a gift box. The package also includes a care card giving advice.
