Each SSTUTTER item sold is handmade with the highest regard and care. Due to the nature of this process, the item may not exactly match the images on the website, or imperfections may occur which we feel add something extra to the piece and echo the craft and personal level of service.
Mirror acrylic (for example) is an especially delicate surface and as such minor/miniscule scratches will occur with even the best intent to prevent them. This will even happen when the item is cleaned, which also happens during the making process as the item is cleaned afterwards. This delcate surface is damaged very easily - even tiny dust particles being on a cloth will do this. The scratches are only typically seen under intense scrutiny and would otherwise not be obvious. Unfortuanetly it is unavoidable - you would need to be in a dust free environment like when they make silicone chips or satelites. If minor imperfections like this are an issue then perhaps mirror acrylic items should be avoided.
However... If you are not happy with your item, for whatever reason, you are able to return the product for an exchange or refund. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org beforehand and within 7 working days. All items have to be returned unworn within 14 working days and be returned in the same condition to which they were sent (tags attached and packaged in the original box).
!WHEN RETURNING NECKLACES, THE CHAIN MUST BE PUT BEHIND THE FOAM INSERT SO THAT THE CHAIN DOES NOT MOVE AGAINST THE SURFACE OF THE ACRYLIC DURING TRANSIT - THE CHAIN WILL SCRATCH THE SURFACE OF THE ACRYLIC - VERY IMPORTANT!
Whilst every care is taken with all of our products, mistakes can happen or damage can occur during delivery. If an item is faulty then please contact us for an exchange or full refund. The jewellery can be delicate, so please take a look at the care advice page for details on how to best protect your purchases.
If an item has become damaged, and you have had it for a while, then repairs may be done. Every effort will be made to return the product to its previous glory, however, there may be a cost involved. Please contact us for details and try to include a photo and a description of the damage or wear.
Items returned from overseas MUST be marked as 'returned goods' on the customs label clearly otherwise I will pass on the charge to the sender. Customs will treat any overseas parcel as a sale, so they will charge me an entry VAT and customs charges. It is not easy to claim this money back and the process doesnt refund the full amount anyway.
Any item returned needs to be sent via recorded. With the exception of faulty goods, the cost of posting returned items will not be refunded;
