Michelle Mildenhall X Sstutter takes Michelle’s iconic latex art and makes it wearable.

Michelle’s work is highly individual, exploring empowerment and vulnerability through fetish inspired Pop Art. Each portrait is meticulously constructed from cut latex, layered into instantly recognisable graphic imagery. Confrontational and charged with taboo themes, her style appeals to both art lovers and the fetish community.

Many of her subjects remain unnamed, enacting provocative moments that invite intrigue. Michelle also transforms public figures from history and pop culture, subverting the familiar to create something daring and new.

I first met Michelle at Le Boutique Bazaar and was instantly drawn to her latex portraits. What I love about her work is its stripped back clarity, with simplified forms and negative space used to powerful effect. Reduced to essential shapes and colour, her imagery is direct, bold and unforgettable.

Michelle is also a devoted fan of acrylic brooches, and when she saw my handmade work, a collaboration felt like the perfect fit. I set out to take Michelle’s signature portraits and reimagine them as pieces that become part of your style, bringing her art closer and creating works to be cherished.
